Join KNOW in Nonviolent Direct Action on October 19, Friday
Kalamazoo Nonviolent Opponents of War (KNOW) will be assembling 100+ volunteers at Bronson Park (downtown Kalamazoo) at 4:30 p.m. on October 19 to create a stunning visual for the media and the people of the Kalamazoo area. We will dramatize the daily reality of Iraqi civilian casualties. We will cover ourselves in
white sheets and lay down to represent the dead.
We need you to volunteer as an individual, or as someone willing to organize a 3-5 person affinity group. This is permitted action at Bronson Park, so we expect no arrests. Please wear a white shirt and bring a white sheet (preferably fitted). Wear appropriate clothes for the weather. Supporters are needed also.
Please call or email to let us know if you will participate: 269 345-0489 or 269 372-2496; rjoyce @kvcc.edu or rlkildea@sbcglobal.net
