6 years of destruction for Iraq, 6 years of sorrow for US. A war based on lies, for the benefit of the oil companies and defense contractors. Its time to bring all the troops home, close all the bases and provide for the reconstruction of Iraq by Iraqis.

Please join in marking the 6th anniversary of the Iraq war and occupation. In Kalamazoo, on Thursday March 19th, we will march starting at 5:00 pm from the flagpoles in the middle of WMU campus. We will pick up a contingent of K-college students, and march downtown to the Federal Building at Park and Michigan. We will have some remarks there, then proceed to the Bronson Park.
At 7:00 pm there will be an interfaith service with speaker Bert DeVries, to be held at United Methodist Church on the Bronson Park. Refreshments before at the park, and afterwards at the church.

Stop the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, fund people’s needs- our voices on April 4.

Kalamazoo Nonviolent Opponents of War (KNOW) is sponsoring a bus to the national march on Wall Street in New York City on Saturday April 4. We will leave Friday evening and return Sunday morning. Be-in-the-KNOW film series continues this Friday, March 6th, at 7:30 with the documentary feature “Occupation 101″. The film will be shown at Unity Church, 1204 Whites Road. Park and enter in the back.

The film is an eye-opener in terms of telling the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which you won’t see in the mainstream media.

The event is free and open to the public, donations accepted.
